Sorry its been awhile
Hello everyone! We miss you guys. Life with the Doane fam is great as usual but busy!
Mrs. Lauren is amazing and the boys are thriving. Every morning Braydon asks over and over if Mrs. Lauren is here yet and then when the there is a knock at the door he makes his eyes huge and goes "huuuughhh!!!" a smile spreads over his face and the day has begun. Seems like they are learning with everything they do, this week they made pattered decorations for Caleb's party and learned letters. Caleb is mastering the shapes going into the cookie jar (toy) and is learning more words...Dadda...mamma....hi....up. He has also started giving people kisses, blowing you kisses and he does the Caleb dance (arms bent at the elbows and tucked into his sides and he starts swinging them....that's when i start singing and he does it over and over.......so cute). Caleb has also found a new interest in putting items into various vessels. If you take toys out he wants to put them back in or if he doesn't know where they go he finds places aka...cars in my makeup draw.
Lets seeee, Caleb got to visit his Grandma and Grandpa in Colorado last week and had a great time. They hung out with all sorts or people and I imagine he got to do pretty much anything he wanted to. Meanwhile Braydon and Robbie had a really special weekend. They went to the dino exhibit at the museum, went to Chucky Cheese, played and played and played! Lucky boys!
The Big news......CALEB TURNED ONE!!!!! I cant believe it has been a year already. We are celebrating with a party this weekend where we will have a good gathering of neighbors, friends, Jonny & Gramie and Grampie. What a lucky boy!
This next bit of news is big for Robbie, Mrs. Lauren and myself. The boys are officially in cloth diapers now. I am 100% hopeful and also about 50% fearful but Lauren has put my fears to the side since she has such a great attitude about it...I have almost convinced myself that this is somehow not going to be a big deal. We will see (and so will all of y'all on the next weekend you agree to babysit) :)

hello
Hey everyone! What a busy week we had! The boys had a blast doing all sorts of fun things with Mrs. Lauren. They went to Bounce world as you can see in the pictures. They had a playdate, met mom at the park, visited mom at the office and showed off how cute they were. They played every game in the house did BLUE art and read a ton of books. Braydon has asked about Mrs. Lauren every minute that she is not here. We are soo lucky.
Mollie, Steve and Felicia all came in town yesterday and we had a great time catching up and enjoying the 75 degree weather while the kids played. We have visits from most all of you on the calendar over the next few weeks and we cant wait. Braydon keeps telling everyone that he is having an Easter party and that his Brother is having a Birthday party! You will see pictures of each soon.
Well hope you all enjoy the pictures and we will see you all soon.

March is here!
March is here and the boys are loving the warmer weather. We have been outside a ton, playing in the playhouse and with the hose. Water is endless entertainment at the Doane house.
Braydon is talking a TON. Everyday he is using new phrases and saying adorable things. Caleb is Active McActive! He is crawling everywhere and if there is something to hold onto he is pulling up, holding on and walking around it. Oh, yeah he also has a blankie...yep, that is right the blue soft blanket he sleeps with is now his everywhere blanket. He loves carrying it (dragging it) all around with him.
On a family note, the Mrs. Lauren (nanny) starts on Monday and we are all so excited! Keep you all posted but soo far we are all thrilled with it!

Busy Weekend
Hello everyone! things are great at my house. Look how big Caleb and I have gotten! Mom and Dad are amazed. They say we get bigger everyday.
We had a really good weekend. GiGi came in town this weekend and we played! She brought fun puzzles and pictures for us to do and loved it!!!! She says that we are good boys :)
Daddy and I built a car this weekend, it was a lot of fun, I got to use a hammer and nails all by myself. If any of you come and visit you can play with it.
I miss you guys, please come visit soon.
